stupid seat mount question.

I'm mounting my seats to the bases right now, and I just noticed that there is an angle to the part that actually mounts to the seat. So, are the seats supposed to lean slightly back or slightly forward?

I'm not totally sure on this, but you may have got mounts for the "butt seat" type of seat. I have seen mounting plates for these kind of seats that have an angle that tips the seat forward so that you're leaning/resting your rear more than sitting on it. There are a lot of seating systems out there but other than the above I am only familiar with the ones that have the mounting plate at 90° to the pin. Maybe telling us the brand or posting a pic might get you a better answer.

Nevermind. Apparently, I just needed to look a little closer, at the big arrow that says forward on the base.

So what way are they leaning?

seats should tilt back.

They tilt back just slightly. Once I got to looking at it, they would be pretty uncomfortable, if they went the other way.
