Just bought a new Optimax and dumbazz me didn't have the sense to ask if a tach was standard. First boat I have ever owned that wasn't tiller that didn't come standard with a tack. :roll:
The dealer is 3.5 hours from me so it is cost prohibitive to take it back to have them put one in. Just how bad is it to put one on these things? I am pretty mechanically inclined, in fact am an old diesel mechanic. Heavy emphasis on old.
