The end of summer is here....

and that means that the big blues are starting to hit again!!!! My brother and his son have been in town and we went out over the weekend. We've actually been out several times over the past 2 weeks when they've been here, but with limited success to say the least. Thankfully the fish decided they'd be more cooperative over the weekend. Here are a few pics of some of the blue catfish we caught.

They certainly aren't the 40/30 stripers you catch, but this is on the high end of what I can expect to catch on the Potomac River at this location.
