TM wiring and battery box...

When you guys run the connectors from a TM to a plastic battery box, do you just cut a hole in top of the box to access the battery posts? Obviously the cover is suppose to stay on so I was wondering how people rig their connections since there is no opening...

The box(top) I have flares out on the one side. This is meant for the cables to run up the side and into the box.
