Is there a way to tension the trolling motor steeling cable? I have a MinnKota Edge 40lb. I have it set so when the pedal is flat it is straight. Although on high speeds the motor will bounce left and right. Probably moving about 15-20 degrees without pedal movement. Everything else works fine, just annoys me that I cant go "straight" on high speeds.

On the bottom of the pedal either on the front or back (I can't remember which off hand) there are one or two screws connected to the steering cable. You can tighten it there. Be careful though and tighten it slowely and test it along the way so you don't over tighten or stretch it.
