Dave and myself hit a few ponds in out local pond jumping circuit this morning, then again in the evening. We expected tons of fish at one pond in the morning, but only caught a few fish to 2lbs each.
We hit the same pond before dark and hooked a few decent fish. We move to another pond and I hooked a 3.5 to 4lbs LM on my first cast with one of Dave's custom poppers.
This was my biggest fish ever in this pond, I was very pleased, as I had an audience that fished the same spot for a while before we got there.
