It has, in fact, been great. Flawless even. I will use it non stop for 10-14 hours in a day without it skipping a single beat. It starts easy, shifts well... it just has a lot of vibration due to it's mechanics. The twins will counterbalance much better. The vibration has become less of an issue now that I don't link my main motor to the kicker to drive the boat.

I used to have a big flatback canoe with a 1958, 3 horse Evinrude Fasttwin. You could balance a glass on top of it while it ran. Actually I still have that motor but it's a shortshaft and I need an extra long for my trolling boat.
