I want to make this a muskie hunter. But I also need to have a boat that can haul 3 others beside myself. I want to ad some decking but not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

This boat is in pretty good shape. It's a 1975 Meyers 14 pro with a 15 hp Evinrude (has a 9.9 cover). My dad and I had a great time fishing in it. He passed about 5 years ago and wanted me to have it. I just picked it up last week.

Good looking boat. I fished Puget sound in many boats that were not that good.

Up front, make a shelf for the Gas tank with a cover to use as a Step Board. It' will help with a head wind problem.
Without enough weight up front, the wind might pick the front end right up and tumble the boat back over your head!
True story. It did happen to me but I was able to kill the motor in time. I learn everything the hard way. :LOL2:

I put the Battery up front too.

Thanks for advice thudpucker. I have enough gas line to do what you suggested. I'll build a box for it soon.

I finally got everything registered today. I just have to paint my numbers on and I'll be ready to take it for a spin.
