OK guys I'm new to this site as I just purchased my first boat. Man I am impressed with the comradery on this site you guys rock so quick to help and share ideas... Anyways here's the scoop I bought this boat the PO painted the outside with a shaker can and the inside with a brush.he used flex seal on all the seams... The trailer is newer.with an ez load tiltand new tires. The seats are swivel and are one season old. new 6 gal gas tank, primerbulb and gas lines.. The motor is a 1969 9 1/2hp evinrude 2stroke. Old minn kota trolling motor 28lb thrust.new deep cycle marine battery kept on a trickle charge. 3 life vests, ankor and paddles... All for $1600

I get the boat home and noticed when the PO painted it he replace the outside transom with regular plywood not sealed.. It was warped and splitting... I removed the outside transom board and also the inside as it was chipping away...I used x2 3/4 ply gorrila glued, scared and clamped.. I'm going to apply the fiberglass resin today and paint the inside if the boat.it was pink and white for his daughter. I was able to remove the stars with acetone.I think I'll leave it blue... I painted the trolling motor and plan to paint the ob cowl ... But my question is how and the hell do I take off these **** seats hahahah. Looks like if you turn it 90° you can access the 1/2 bolt that is going into the bench.... Is there a better way to do this or am i forced to scrape my knuckles removing the seat and mount or can I remove the seat then the swivel or does it all come off together... Thanks guys here are some pics

When I mount or un-mount a seat I use a ratcheting box end wrench and wear gloves.

Hey thanks man.. That sucks I knew that was going to be the answer
Here's an update... Sealed up the transom and cleaned the inside of the boat... I think I'm going to leave the seats and put trash bags over em and tape em down.. It took me 35 minutes to get one bolt out.... Smh

Sea King brand boats and motors were sold by Montgomery Wards
You are correct good sir.... I seen the label after I posted it... The registration says sears seaking... I just picked up this lure, compas and fish finder for $40 fish finder is like 10 years old .... I hooked it up to the battery seems to work. Works in demo mode but I guess I won't know till I'm on the water
