replacing the dash mounted ign switch because the electric choke is inop.
the original and replacement have 6 wires.
the wiring is the same with the exception of the yellow/black wire on the replacement switch does not match with the blue wire on the original.

is the blue wire for the electric choke?

there is a yellow/blk wire bundled up in the main harness. the wire at the choke solenoid is blue.
all the wire color charts and schematics I've seen says the choke wire is yellow/blk.

The black wire with a yellow stripe is for the kill button/switch. If it were yellow with a black stripe that could be for a choke. When I wired mine up I just followed everything back to the engine so I knew what did what. Hook it up and find out. Sounds like you only have one variable.
