Academy sports has their H2O mettle reels and all star rods on sale for $25 each. That's about half price for anyone in the market for a new baitcaster. I saw it on page 1 of their current ad.
After hearing nothing but good things about them I got one last year and have nothing but good things to say about them. I dont think there is a better reel out there for the money.
maybe the one i got was just a POS, I didnt like it at all tho, best reel i have found for less than 100 bux is a browning, i have 3 and will have 3 more soon..
