I’m starting in on prettifying my $50 beater motor.

Shouldn’t really call it a beater as it has done everything I’ve asked, but it won’t win any beauty contests.

Nice! That reminded me of when I cleaned up my Merc cowl with SoftScrub and then some rubbing compound and a full wax. It came up shiny but it's pretty beat up from a tree branch that came down during Sandy.

Nice paint and gloss work! Those older Tohatsu smokers are rock solid motors! Used by many around the world on RIBs and SIBs. Too bad we can't get the smokers here any longer.
