I just got a 17' 87 bass tracker and pretty much got it gutted out. My question is, would it be possible to take out the front and back decks or lower them with out causing any structural problems. I plan on using for pan fishing and would like to be sitting lower and not up on the decks. Thanks for any help.

I'm no expert on trackers but I don't think I would remove them, maybe lower them, but you will have to remove some thru-the-hull rivets to do so. You would have to remove all the rivets on the hull cross braces that have alot of below waterline rivets, cut them and bend a new lip on them too in order to fasten the decking.
