HMMPH! I suppose a guy could transform it into a sub, but that's still a lot of compartment flooding to get it to sink. Then, you'd have to tow an air hose and flotation "marker" (with "diver down" flag) in order to pull air so as to pump the water out and resurface A fair bit of that space is going to be used up for batteries for the electric motors mounted on standoffs. Using trolling motors shrinks the electronics package, but still......
It would be better used as an aero salt flats racecar, if it's not too narrow.

As a kid had a G.I. Joe submarine that was pretty awesome. Wish I still had it.
