I have a 1960 Brewster 14 ft flat both
That came from the factory without a drain plug. Now what I'm wondering is if installing one is as easy as drilling a hole in the rear and putting a plug in? I just need some guidence. Thank you

no, it's not that simple, but i don't think it's a difficult endeavor. If you choose to fabricate one, I'm sure you can drill a hole towards the bottom and weld a piece of aluminum tubing. Just be sure the tubing is the right diameter that will fit the drain plug.

The other option is buying factory made plugs and housings. Here's a link to show what I am talking about: https://www.iboats.com/Garboard-Dra...8744808--session_id.832445392--view_id.470216. Just be sure you seal it around the hole and where the screw/bolt holes are. 3M 5200 sealant is my recommendation.
