lower unit

:?: I have a 7.5 gamefisher which has a prop shaft seal leak, not been able to find replacement and was told I could drain gear lube and pack it with grease was wondering if anyone has heard of this and will it work without hurting lower unit.

the grease isn't going to last long. I would at the very least , put fresh gear oil in every time you use it . I'd also search for an alternative repair/fab a seal or find another one close and make it fit/work...

no problem i had a hard time finding parts for my old sears motor. they seem'd to have more variety than anywhere else i could find, though i think they rob you on the shipping. ive ordered parts 4 diff times from them and they always come in 3-4 days, but 10 bucks shipping for some orings and junk is alittle stiff.
