I have a 1988 Bass Tracker Guide special V16. Just upgraded my outboard to a 40hp. I am trying to distribute the weight a bit more as I originally had a 25hp on it. I am getting ready to replace the main flooring. Needs it so figured this would be the best time.
It is a console unit and I am looking at adding a storage container below the deck. Looking at the T&H or the Tempress liners and hatches these are REALLY expensive by the time you get the hatch liner and the hatch. I need to be able to walk on the cover.
Looking for inexpensive ideas.

What do you folk think?

Cooler?

Possible to install the Tempress liners and go cheap on the inside? Like a rubbermaid bin or the like.

If you're replacing the deck, can you frame up a hatch door while you're at it?
