New boat ideas/mods

Hello everyone!

I am new to the site and have already learned a lot just by reading.

I recently bought my first boat. It is a 12' OrrCraft. It is old (judging by the fact that I can't find anything about an "orrcraft") but seems to be in good shape. I think it is a rowboat/ semi v aluminum boat.

I am going to upload pictures and my plans for modification. Any ideas/comments/advice would be appreciated.

Was just now thinking I might skip the deck and just put more rubber there. I've seen some rubbermats with holes in them. Where are those purchased. Was also thinking about putting rhino liner or something like that down instead but the mats are removable and I like that. One more question. You can see from the picks that is already has an interior transom. there is nothing on the back. Would I need to mount something if I wanted to attach a 5hp or tolling motor?
