New guy in IL.

Hey folks,

New guy here to the forum. I was searching Youtube a couple weeks ago and I noticed the "jet jon" conversions. I am really interested in building one of these as a winter project... My wife and I (sometimes the kids will join) usually fish close to 3-4 times a week but, have no boat. I would like to get on the river or some of these ponds around here. I think a jet jon would be perfect for what we need it for. Anyone ever built one of these? Maybe some how to's or do's and dont's on this subject? Thanks in advance!

There are several people on this site that are very knowledgeable.
