Hi folks,
When I row, the oars hit my legs when I lift them out of the water. I’m not sitting in a seat, just on the middle bench. Can I raise the oarlock sockets, or buy an aftermarket part to get the oars to be higher up?

Adjustable height oarlocks are made. You could probably just rig a spacer yourself... a little height at the oarlock translates to a lot of height at the paddle or handle... so you don't need much.

I took some 13/16" stainless bar stock and threaded 1 end with 3/8-16 external threads and drilled out the other end to a depth of 2.5 inches at the diameter of the spindle of the oar and I bolt these in place in the existing holes on the boat and that raises my oars up about 3 inches.
