Took the tin out this weekend for some good ole flounder gigging. Had a great time and got a few. The smallest was 15.6 inches and the largest was 22.5 inches.

Dang that brings back memories. My family is from Goldsboro and Kinston (Strouds and Dixsons). When I was a kid, we'd go flounder gigging at least twice a year right up until I left for the Army. Haven't been since. Thank you for the good memories. I can just taste those calabash fried flounder fillets.

Nice gigging mangelcc! When I was a kid my uncle used to take me to Bogue Inlet and we would flounder gig. That brings back a bunch of memories. Thanks.
