Polar Kraft?

Can anyone tell me if my boat is a Polar Kraft? I posted pics on the Polar Kraft forum and received encouragement but no substantive help. The PO registered it as a 1968 14 ft Polar Kraft. Since the boat is really only 12 ft, I have some concerns. If there is an HID plate, it is behind the transom, and I really do not want to dismantle it, as you can see. Or perhaps I should.
