Hello all,

I have been searching the web for all kinds of sites that could help me make my boat better.
I'll start by saying this is my first boat. I'm also a Army Combat Veteran. So I'm on disability and don't have much money. I'm what most would call a budget builder. I will continue to post as I increase the mods. but money is again an issue. this is what i have ......

used trailer : $100
used 12ft jon (make and model unk): $100
trolling motor: mini kota 30lbs : $119
1985 Evinrude 8hp : $200 (still troubleshooting)

sorry i started to put somethings together to see if it was even worth trying.

Looks like a good place to start. Fix any leaks and take boat fishing!!. I found that in the 12footer's the less you take the better off you are. We just fished the river with a trolling motor. I have a 9.9 but it does get a tad squirely at WOT.
Have fun with the boat, but remember, Its hard to catch fish and enjoy the water when its in the garage!

I plan to take liberator out on the river very soon. Ya I just want some weight in the front to level the boat out. Or would it be better with the front leaned upwards? And one test it? How does one test speed.I heard GPS, but like car gps, or is there marine gps, or phone
