Just to clarify what I said about Trailering with the Top UP on the roadways.....

Here in my part of FLORIDA, we have a LOT of big a$$ trees with big a$$ limbs that stick right
out to the edge of the road !!! Many a Boater has lost a Bimini, both canvas and aluminum hard-top
to these monsters that lurk so close to the roads. Tractor-Trailer drivers HATE them b/c they really
tear up a freshly painted logo on the side of the trailer.
So that is why I suggested the top be down and secured for trailering. All it takes is one "OH CHIT"
and your top is GONE.

Now, if in YOUR area, you don't have these issues, then maybe I would feel comfortable trailering
with the top up. But not where I live.

My Carver bimini gets stowed during transport but stays up underway, even with the 25hp at WOT. It certainly does push the boat more if it is windy. Small price to pay for protection from the elements.
