I wounder if I can get a pair of shocks for my old boat trailer? My boat trail only has one nut on each of the axles , There not lock nuts nor do they have any kind of locking device for them. What would I need to fix this the right way?

I got a nice pair of coil over shocks at napa auto parts......as for the hubs...if you have a pacific steel & recycling in your area they are only $15 a peice minus bearings which walmary has for a couple bucks.

I like the shock idea, dunno about coil overs but cheap ol gas shocks would minimize the bounce. Tractor supply for the castle nuts.

There is no hole in the axel to use a castel nut. I hate to say That I'm a retierd machanic but this is a first for me.. When the shocks are fully closed there about 10 inches long.
