1648 Alweld Tiller recommendation

I've got a 1648 mod V alweld that is rated up to 50hp. Currently it has a 92 30hp evinrude on it with a 10x13 pitch prop. It runs pretty good, gets outta the hole decently, and top speed on gps seems to be in the upper 20's.
I've thought about keeping my eyes out for a larger tiller but am not sure if I should go 4 or 2 stroke. I've heard that in the smaller motors that the weight of the 4 is kinda bad.

Anyone running a 50 on a 1648. How do you feel it runs? I would love to put a 50 evinrude on the back but if I could find something used I might jump.
