I just boat the below boat see link. I want to remove side console and seat and slide the console back? Has anyone done this? Does it jeopardize the boat structure?

Nice boat ya got there. Has a lot of potential, But im diggin how open it is. As far as your question goes... I don't believe it will effect the integrity of the structure. But I'm a bit confused, do you plan on moving the console a few inches back closer to the bench or move the console and the bench back more?
