Anyone else have one?
I recently purchased one and have found little info on them. I've found very little on MV1544 size boats of any brand. Mine is all-welded and has factory aluminum floor, decks and storage compartments. (It is much heavier than my previous riveted 1436.) Its paired with a 25hp Mercury smoker to help with the additional weight and planes fairly quick with two adults and our 70lb Irish Setter. Haven't had the chance to GPS top speed yet but figure around 25. The heavier hull and mod V sure does handle much better than I was expecting.
