Started with two modified Stealth bases and rod holders.
I really like how the Stealth design accommodates spinning and baitcasting reels/rods. They use a cam design that locks the rod in place=no sliding around. Just pull up on the rod and it's released from the holder.
The T-track bolts that the Stealth bases came with were too large to fit in the Lowe Roughneck track, but toilet T bolts fit perfectly. Wasn't sure what kind of metal the toilet T bolts (about $1.75 at Walmart) were made out of, so I sprayed on some bare metal primer on them.
Might get the Dremel out to shorten the bolts--Pretty sure, I'm keeping them in this location.
