I'm curious about the bungee cord set up though. Have any details that you can share? Don't think I'd use it since I'm hardly ever a bank fisherman, but it's got my mind whirling for an explanation. :?

Fender - The bungee simply keeps the rod from becoming a patriot missile when one of the golden ghosts takes off with the bait. It keeps the rod in the holder until you unclip it. That particular rod was setup about 20 yards away from where we were sitting.

Thanks for all the comments folks. Kids (and I) had a blast. I'm fortunate to be able to share the bank with an Ol' Captain.
