I want to split the power coming off the battery to run my trolling motor, bilge pump, and small motorcycle stereo. what is the best way to do it?
will this 30 amp terminal block work? https://www.wiringproducts.com/index1.html?lang=en-us&target=d11.html&gclid=CNOjm6H-3ZoCFQNfFQodby8fxw

Also, what is the best do-it-yourself way to make a waterproof box for wire connections, switches, and stereo head unit.

I would wire the trolling motor directly to the battery with a circuit breaker on the positive side.Bilge pump and stereo can be wired directly using inline fuse specified in the owners manual.Use the wing nut posts for the trolling motor and the other posts for the stereo and bilge pump.

The bottom of this thread page has what I made for my boat. The panel is plywood with carpet covering, the enclosure for the fuse block and breaker is a project box from radio shack. I put in a 6 switch panel from Cabela's ( swapped the switch for my pump to a 3-way), a 12 volt out and trolling motor plug are at the bottom left.

This worked out great. All fuses are at the same place and accessable by removing 4 cover screws. I have a second breaker up front at the battery to protect the leads to the stern.
