Stern Mount Type TM Mounted on Bow: Ideas

I'd like to make a simple mount to be able to take on and off of the front of my Jon Boat for my stern mount trolling motor. This is what I came up with. Does anyone have another (possibly simpler) idea?

I don't have the flat space on the front..... I wish It would work Baitcaster. I have the old Landau boat with a round-ish Gun Wale all around the front.
