I have a 1962 evenrude 40 hp lark, manual shift, elect start, belt drive 12v generator. Want to replace the voltage regulator and starter selinoin in the original controll box. The original part numbers turn up nothing. Both look like the common parts you saw on car firewalls back in the day. Back then most regulators were 30 to 40 amp, this one is stamped 10 amp. Anyone know what will work?
