12' Vhull, Sears boat, est 30 yrs old or so.
Phase One:
sand, paint, new wood, sand and stain or oars, add handles
Phase Two:
add casting space, flooring+framing (trick is i want it removable)
Phase Three: (braingstorming, ha.)
Today I began lightly sanding the boat after washing it down and cleaning it.
The boat was in awesome shape when I found it. NO LEAKS, small nics or dings and metal overal is in great shape.
I am using the Self Etching Allumin Primer from Rustoleum as my base. I am doing this on a budget because I have sunken enough money into my fishing kayak and with an upcoming wedding I'd prefer for my fiance not to kill me before we get hitched.
I will link up a photor or two after work today.
